Wild Return To Hartman Arena to Battle Division Rival Tomorow Night!
Wild Return Home to Battle Division Rival
The Wichita Wild of the Indoor Football League (IFL) will entertain its biggest rival, the Omaha Beef, on Saturday night at Hartman Arena. The game is expected to be spirited as it is no secret that both teams have a disdain for each other. The teams have played four times over the past two seasons with the Wild winning three of the games. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
The Wild (4-1) are coming off two huge divisional road victories. The first of those victories came on March 29 as the Wild defeated Omaha by a score of 57-47. Wild quarterback Dixie Wooten is hot right now as he has accounted for 11 touchdowns (6 rushing, 5 passing) in the last two weeks.
The Beef (2-2) enter the game ranked 18th in the IFL in total yards allowed per game at 237.8. The Beef are allowing an average of 60.2 more yards per game than the Wild. Omaha relies heavily on their high powered offense to win games. Quarterback Ben Sankey has thrown for the second most touchdowns in the league with 17. Wide receiver OJ Simpson torched the Wild for 9 catches and 101 yards in the game on March 29.
Tickets can be purchased from the Hartman Arena Box Office in Park City or by calling the box office at 316-927-3999. Fans can also purchase tickets online at www.stage1tickets.com. The game can be heard LIVE on KNSS (1330 AM). Don't miss this Central Division Collision as the Wild defend their division title from 2009.
